Aerie Underwear is *The Best Underwear*
I recently placed an order for the 2021 holiday collection at Aerie and American Eagle Outfitters.
To say it went extremely well, is an understatement.
Aerie and AEO have always been favourites of mine when it comes to shopping online and in store. They have an exceptional shipping/returns program, they have inclusive sizing, their products are cozy, stylish, and fun, I could go on and on.
BUT, I want to share what I all got for the holiday season from Aerie, why I picked it, and how it turned out! ( I will share all of what I got from American Eagle soon too ).
Starting off spicy..
I had the Aerie Eyelash Lace Plunge Padded Bralette in a blush pink already and LOVE it. So when I saw the red I knew I wanted it right away. My first thoughts were "that will look sexy, I LOVE the holiday red" and "IT'S GOING TO BE SO COMFY TOO". Even before having it I felt so excited. Naturally I got the matching underwear too because it felt even more festive and sexy.
Aerie's underwear is my all time favourite. I don't say that about very many brands, but they have never let me down. I love the way I feel in Aerie underwear, so I knew I would be ordering more during the holidays because they come out with the cutest prints this time of year.
I love the holidays so it's a really fun and simple thing I get to enjoy when I get dressed over the holiday season that is just for me.
What I really liked this year about their holiday collection was that you could order bundles, which came in a really cute box! The polar bears are my favourite!
Once I found underwear that I really enjoyed wearing it became one of my favourite things to shop for. I personally believe the underwear you wear should be entirely for your joy. So, I have linked all of my favourites from the Aerie holiday collection, but I wanted to specifically share what I ordered with you guys here.
If you haven't found underwear you love yet don't give up, Aerie might be great for you to try. Figuring out what you don't like will get you closer and closer to what you do when it comes to your personal style, and finding the right underwear for you is an amazing feeling because you're doing it for yourself.
My biggest tip when trying on underwear is to try and notice how you feel in it beyond just what you think about it.
Is it comfortable? Does it feel like it fits? Do you feel sexy? Do you feel cozy? Do you feel joyful/playful? Do they feel good? Do you feel good?
Asking yourself questions like these about how you feel when trying it on, is not only caring towards yourself, but will help you to separate the underwear from yourself.
It makes it about how you feel, and not "underwear makes me feel disgusting".
It is empowering to notice how you feel, why you feel that way, and what you want to do about it. Whether that is not wearing / re-purchasing that pair of underwear, OR changing the way you think and feel about it.
Underwear cannot make you feel anything, but your thoughts about you and your underwear does. Don't give all of your power away to a pair of underwear.
Love and trust yourself.
